Art Deco is a design style of the 1920’s and 1930’s recognisable by the use of sleek geometric or stylized forms. This plain art deco cornice could be described as plaster coving with the addition of a linear band at the bottom of the wall line. The unenriched design is timeless and would work equally well in a early twentieth century or contemporary setting.
