We were delighted to welcome ITV News into our workshop this week to film some of the decorative plaster restoration work we are currently undertaking for Matsim Properties and the Brighton Hippodrome.
ITV Meridian reporter Andy Dickenson has been following the progress and story behind the recent transformation of Brighton Hippodrome and we were honoured to provide a tour of our workshop and interview with our spokesperson, Peter Adams.
The big news is the recent announcement of a target date for the grand re-opening. Simon Lambor of Matsim Properties has confirmed they hope to reopen on November 22, 2024 – and they’re dreaming of the Rolling Stones returning to play! The date marks the 60th anniversary of Chuck Berry’s famous farewell show for the venue – which later became a bingo hall before falling into disrepair.

Peter Adams commented on the plaster restoration work Artisan is undertaking “The scale of it makes it a challenge, but it’s a fabulous building visually to look out on. We really are excited to be able to restore it to its full glory, really its former glory for, and for future generations.”
