Artisan Plastercraft features in the February 2023 edition of Homes & Antiques magazine within the ‘Restore & Renovate’ section; on pages 96-97 is an article on how to repair cornicing. We were delighted to be approached by Jenny Oldaker, who penned the piece, to offer some advice and answer some common questions. The article includes reference to our plaster restoration work at The German Embassy in London, where we created moulds from site squeezes of existing decorations in order to reproduce cornices, friezes, panels and other fibrous elements.
We offer a wide range of plaster cornice mouldings on our website shop for individuals to purchase and have delivered in the London area. For guidance on period appropriate cornice patterns have a read of this summary list of our cornice design options by period of history.
