Our charity for 2017 – NSPCC

Artisan Plastercraft’s team are proud to announce that our 2017 charity will be NSPCC (National Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Children). With 1 in 3 UK children living in poverty, we thought this was a just and worthwhile cause.

German Embassy lovingly restored.

In September we completed a mammoth project to restore a whole range of plaster needs throughout 11 beautiful rooms. Before Our work entailed taking site squeezes, then creating moulds from these squeezes in order to reproduce: cornices, friezes, panels and other fibrous elements. Lath Plaster Ceiling Repair – listed building

We have won work of a lath plaster ceiling repair and restoration to the fibrous plaster for this beautiful ceiling, within a grade-two listed building. We see this quite a bit on jobs where simple age deterioration, leads to a ceiling collapsing one day. We will be sure to post up the after pictures

Glass Reinforced Gypsum Ceiling at V&A

We recently completed a complex glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) fishtail ceiling at the beautiful Victoria and Albert Museum, London – within the European 1600-1815 gallery. In addition, we were thrilled the project went on to be covered within Architecture Today magazine.
