We recently completed the installation of a selection of beautiful decorative plaster mouldings at Lío London as part of a refurbishment package for WFC Contractors.
The project required us to take a number of site squeezes to replicate existing plaster enrichments, including floral motifs, rope edge vertical mouldings, fringe mouldings, plain cove cornice, floor skirting and curved plaster sections between ceiling bulkheads.
Once we had obtained the decoration impressions from site, we were able to create moulds in our workshop for each item and cast new pieces to replace and restore what was on site. The bespoke decorative plasterwork and refurbishment is now complete and these images show some of our work.
Lío London is a cabaret, dinner and dance venue that now occupies the former Café de Paris nightclub in Coventry Street, situated between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Lio is part of the Pacha Group – which operates a selection of nightlife, restaurant and hotel venues across the Balearic Islands and beyond.
